NOMINATIONS NOW OPEN FOR THE SCOTTISH FA GRASSROOTS AWARDS 2013 PRESENTED BY MCDONALD’S AND THE SUNDAY MAIL
The Scottish FA Grassroots Awards aim to recognise and reward grassroots clubs, coaches and volunteers. We know there are thousands of volunteers throughout Scotland who work tirelessly all year, come rain or shine, to provide opportunities for young players. These dedicated individuals put in countless hours, often over a number of years, to ensure grassroots football keeps going from strength to strength. So in order to recognise these amazing people we need you to nominate your #grassrootsheroes
This year we will host regional Grassroots Awards in each of our six regions, supported by McDonald’s and The Sunday Mail. The regional winners will be selected after voting closes on 27 May 2013 and celebrated at regional award ceremonies.
Those winners will then become the shortlist in the same category for our national awards, along with three additional categories, which recognise and reward individuals and clubs across the country who make a difference to grassroots football in their local communities.
National winners will be presented with their awards by Kenny Dalglish and special guests at the annual national ceremony at Hampden in September 2013.
