Billy Stark was appointed Scottish FA Youth Teams National Coach in January 2008 after four years as Manager of Queen's Park FC.

In his playing career, Billy played for St. Mirren, Aberdeen, Kilmarnock, Hamilton Academical and Celtic.

After retiring from playing in 1994, he moved into management as Tommy Burns' assistant at Celtic. He then went on to manage Greenock Morton and St. Johnstone, before taking over at Queen's Park in 2004.

Billy was named interim national coach of the Scotland A squad in November 2012, following the departure of Craig Levein.
