Biography

Paul was capped 13 times for Scotland under-21s between 2008 and 2010. He captained the side that reached the play-offs for the 2011 UEFA Under-21 Championship, narrowly losing out to Iceland over two legs in October 2010.

 

He received his first senior call-up when Gordon Strachan drafted him in as a late replacement for the FIFA World Cup 2014 qualifier against Serbia in March 2013.
