Biography

Alexander Lowson Keillor was born in Dundee on 20 October 1869. Died 16 June 1960. Brought up and educated in Montrose where he learned the game at school he joined the local club in 1884. Despite playing for a small town team he came to attention of the selectors and is one of only two Montrose players to be capped for Scotland. It was perhaps inevitable that he would turn professional and he moved to Dundee in 1893. However at the end of his career he spent a further four seasons at Montrose
