Biography

Francis Joseph O’Donnell was born in Buckhaven (Fife) on 31 August, 1911. He died on 4 September, 1952.
A product of the top Fife nursery team, Wellesley Juniors, Frank O’Donnell signed for Celtic in September 1930 and had a productive five years at Parkhead. He had a roaming brief in the forward line and scored 51 goals in just 78 league appearances.
