William Ferguson Miller was born in Glasgow on 2 May, 1955.
One of Scottish football’s greatest defenders, he spent his entire playing career with Aberdeen and captained the team to numerous successes including the European Cup Winners Cup in 1983. He joined the club in 1971 and spent 20 years as a player at Pittodrie, making over 800 first team appearances.
