Stephen Paul Pearson was born in Lanark on 2 October 1982.
Pearson showed precocious talent with Motherwell, where his runs down the wing caused havoc in opposition defences and many clubs clamoured for his signature. He opted to join Celtic in January 2004 and settled into the team immediately. However, his first team appearances became sporadic and he moved to Derby County in January 2007. |
