FOOTBALL SUPPORTS DISADVANTAGED SCOTTISH CHILDREN THIS CHRISTMAS
The Tartan Army Children's Charity (TACC) has teamed up charity partner Aberlour, the largest solely Scottish children’s charity, and the Scottish FA to bring festive cheer to disadvantaged Scottish children through its virtual Christmas present appeal.
TACC, run by supporters, is asking Scotland's famous Tartan Army to dig deep in these challenging times by adding one extra present to their Christmas shopping list this year.

Scotland players James McFadden and Stephen McManus urge fans to support Tartan Army Children’s Charity’s virtual Christmas pressie appeal with Aberlour
Children who use Aberlour’s services around Scotland will benefit from the fans' generosity. The children have handed over their Christmas pressie wish lists which are available for fans to choose from online. TACC is confident that none of them will be disappointed.
Carey McEvoy, from TACC said: "Scotland's supporters have donated over £40,000 to orphans and disabled children overseas in recent years and now it's time to support children in Scotland. We're asking fans around Scotland to buy just one extra present this Christmas for a child in their area. I'm sure they'll rise to the challenge."
Gordon Smith, Chief Executive of the Scottish FA, added: "This is a great chance to get into the spirit of giving this Christmas and giving something to the children and young people supported by Aberlour throughout Scotland. Now that’s a present that will really make a difference to someone.”
Aberlour's Chief Executive Addie Stevenson comments, "Christmas is a time for children and families. Unfortunately not all families are happy or have the means to give their children the happy Christmas that all children should be able to enjoy. We are delighted that TACC has opted to support Aberlour and Scotland’s children this Christmas. I’m sure the generosity of Scotland’s fans will make all the difference to many of Scotland’s children at Christmas. This year it seems Santa is wearing tartan!”
