Biography
William Gulliland was born in Glasgow on 3 February 1871. He died on 13 March 1928.
An outside right who was renowned for his speed ,he played for various local teams in Glasgow before joining Queen’s Park in May 1889. Although this was towards the end of the club’s dominant years he still won two Scottish Cup winners’ medals in 1890 and 1893. He was an auctioneer to trade.
