Gladstone Hamilton

Born in Glasgow 23 July 1879. At outside right he was the only player from Port Glasgow Athletic to be capped although his family had great footballing heritage as both his older brothers Alexander and James were also Scotland internationals. As an amateur he had relative freedom of movement and made occasional guest appearances for Queen's Park although Port Glasgow was his principal club.
