Biography
George Somerville (or Sommerville) was born in the early 1860s, probably in Glasgow.
Playing on the right wing, he played for Uddingston before coming to Rangers, making his debut in January 1885 and playing his last game for them in October that year. He joined Queens Park, and ended the season with a Scottish Cup winners medal and his one international cap. He managed to score Scotlands only goal in the 1-1 draw with England, but was never recalled.
