Peter Buchanan

Peter Symington Buchanan was born in Glasgow on 13 October, 1915. He died on 26 June, 1977.
Peter Buchanan played all his senior football in the south of England, although his first venture south made him homesick and he returned to play for Wishaw Juniors for a year until December 1935. He joined Chelsea and remained with the club until 1946, although wartime football saw him guesting for various clubs including Aldershot, Portsmouth, Southampton, Millwall, Crystal Palace, Fulham and West Ham.
