Robert Calderwood

Robert Calderwood was born about 1860. Date of death not known. Despite winning three caps, little is known about Calderwood's career. He played at centre forward or inside right and came to notice at Cartvale, a club in Busby, Renfrewshire. After playing in all three of Scotland's games in 1885, he moved to Cowlairs, but then was tempted to turn professional with Bootle. This led to his suspension on returning to Scotland in those amateur days.
