David Wilson was killed in action on 28 December, 1916 while serving in the Argyll & Sutherland Regiment. Date of birth not known.
An inside forward who is thought to have played all his club football with Queen’s Park, he was the first player to score a goal at the present Hampden Park after it was built in 1903. Represented QP in the Scottish Cup Final of 1900, the last time the club reached that stage.
