Scotland Women National Coach, Anna Signeul, has named a 19-player squad for the opening World Cup qualifying double-header against Greece and Georgia.

Speaking ahead of the trip to Athens, Anna said: “The first match in a qualifying campaign is always difficult. Greece are a physical side, but with good technical ability. They were beaten by Denmark at home in their opening game of the group, so no doubt they will be keen to make amends.

“We expect a tough game in Athens, but I think we can be quite confident after our win over Northern Ireland last week. We were very pleased with that overall performance, and we’re determined to continue in the same spirit.”
