Scotland once again joined the rest of Europe to celebrate UEFA Grassroots Day.
The link between grassroots and the professional game was highlighted at events across Scotland in the lead up to the Scottish Cup and Champions League Finals.
Children from around Edinburgh enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon of activity in Festival Square, ahead of the historic Hibernian v Heart of Midlothian Scottish Cup Final.
Legends from both clubs came together to meet the children and help to celebrate grassroots football.
UEFA's grassroots message is clear - football should be fun and open to all.
The Scottish FA, in partnership with Cashback for Communities, has invested in an equity-focused programme to make sure all of our communities engage with, and benefit from, our national game.
