Celtic and Falkirk booked their places in Monday's William Hill Scottish Cup semi-finals draw with wins over St Mirren and Hamilton this afternoon.

Joe Ledley and Anthony Stokes were on target for the Hoops as they defeated St Mirren 2-1 in the 12.45pm kick-off.

Ledley's header after five minutes give Celtic an early lead although Esmael Goncalves levelled for St Mirren eight minutes later.

However, Stokes soon had Celtic in front again when he headed home a James Forrest cross on 21 minutes.

At New Douglas Park, Blair Alston scored a brace to seal Falkirk's place in the last four.

He fired Falkirk into a half time lead before smashing home a stunning second from the edge of the penalty area with less than 20 minutes remaining.

Andy Ryan pulled one back to give Accies hope three minutes later but despite late pressure, the hosts could not find an equaliser.

Two more exciting ties will be played tomorrow as the Road to Hampden continues.

There's a Dundee derby at 12.45pm (live on Sky Sports) and at 3pm, Kilmarnock take on Hibernian (live on BBC Scotland).

The semi-finals draw will be made on Monday at 1.30pm by former Scotland international and Celtic assistant manager John Robertson, live on Sky Sports News and via the official Scottish FA Twitter feed.
