SCOTLAND UNDER 21 SQUAD

Thursday, 02 October 2003

Rainer Bonhof has selected the Scotland Under 21 squad to face Lithuania at Perth in the final UEFA qualifying match. A win will see Scotland top their group and go into next month’s play-offs.

The match at McDiarmid Park is on Friday, 10 October, kick-off 7.30 pm, and admission is £5 for adults and £2 for children. A bumper crowd is expected to see the emerging talents in the Scotland Under 21 set-up, although Bonhof will not be able to select Kevin Kyle and Ian Murray, who are both suspended, and Darren Fletcher, who is promoted to the A squad. There is a recall for Garry O’Connor of Hibs, while Coventry City goalkeeper Scott Shearer is called up for the first time.
