Dyslexia Scotland to partner the Scottish Junior Cup

The Scottish Junior FA has reached an agreement with Dyslexia Scotland to become the official Scottish Junior Cup partner until the end of the season.


The partnership has been formed as part of Dyslexia Scotland’s Official Nominated Charity status with the Scottish FA and aims to raise the profile and awareness of their activities.

Dyslexia Scotland is a national charity that aims to encourage people with dyslexia, regardless of age and abilities, to reach their potential in education, employment and life.

It provides information, advice and support for children, parents and adults with dyslexia, as well as employers, teachers and other professionals.

Scotland striker Steven Naismith is an ambassador for the charity and helped launch their partnership with the Scottish FA in October 2014.

The Dyslexia Scotland Junior Cup quarter-final draw takes place at 1pm today at Hampden Park.

Tom Johnston, Scottish Junior FA Secretary, said: “We are delighted to enter into a partnership with Dyslexia Scotland and look forward to helping them raise the profile and awareness of such a good cause.”

Cathy Magee, Dyslexia Scotland Chief Executive, said: “Dyslexia Scotland welcomes this tremendous opportunity to partner the Scottish Junior FA and be part of the Scottish Junior Cup.

“We’re delighted to be able to raise awareness amongst fans and footballers about Dyslexia Scotland, so that parents and young people and adults with dyslexia know where to go for support, help and advice.”
