Bobby Madden has been selected as one of nine referees to officiate at the 2017 UEFA European Under-21 Championships this summer.
Following on from his selection as referee for the 2017 William Hill Scottish Cup final last month he will now travel to Poland for the tournament, which takes place from 16 to 30 June.
His selection is the latest in a string of high profile appointments in recent years. He refereed the 2015 Scottish League Cup final between Celtic and Dundee United, operated as fourth official at the 2016 Scottish Cup final and was an additional assistant referee at the 2013 final between Hibernian and Celtic.
As part of his team, UEFA has also selected David McGeachie and Alastair Mather as Assistant Referees, and Andrew Dallas and Don Robertson as Additional Assistant Referees.
