South West on employment quest

Monday, 10 September 2012

The Scottish FA is supporting an innovative employment course at Rugby Park.

The course aims to assist those without work back into employment.

The ten week programme involves ‘employer engagement’ where those on the course visit businesses throughout Ayrshire.

Interview practice, job search tips, CV compilation and Scottish FA coach education will also be offered.

Paul McDonald, Scottish FA community coach with Kilmarnock FC, is helping with the programme.

His overall role in Ayrshire is to deliver and assess coach education courses from Level 1 - 4 on both Children's and Youth Pathways.

Paul, who has been with the Scottish FA for almost ten years, also has the responsibility of establishing programmes and links with the local community.
