Under-17 squad announced for Wales challenge matches

Brian McLaughlin has named a 20 man Scotland Under-17s squad, for two international challenge matches away to Wales this month.

 

There are first call-ups for Lewis Fiorini of Manchester City and Aidan Fitzpatrick of Partick Thistle.

 

The squad features 13 Scottish FA JD Performance School pupils including a large number of players who played in the International Tournament in England last month.

 

The tournament will act as preparation for the Under-17 European Championship qualifying round in Estonia where they will play the hosts as well as Andorra and Denmark.

 

Fixture schedule:

 

Wednesday, 20 September: Wales v Scotland, kick-off 5pm, Stebonheath Park - Llanelli

 

Friday, 22 September: Wales v Scotland, kick-off 12pm, Stebonheath Park - Llanelli
