Brian Winter receives retiral recognition

Thursday, 14 June 2012

Referee Committee member Donald McVicar made a presentation to Brian Winter at the Referee Training Camp at the weekend to mark the service given during his time on the Scottish FA’s List of Referees.

Brian retired from Category 1 at the end of the season after 10 seasons at that classification.

He had served 14 seasons in total on the List and became a well-regarded referee over the years.

He was appointed to the SFL’s Ramsdens Cup Final between Falkirk and Hamilton Academical last season and was Fourth Official for the SFL League Cup Final, St. Mirren v. Rangers, in season 2010/11.

Brian refereed 80 SPL matches.
