Stewart Regan, Scottish FA chief executive: “We have noted confirmation from Rangers Football Club of their notice of intention to the Court of Session in Edinburgh to appoint administrators.
“We will continue to monitor the situation as it develops and will work with both the Scottish Premier League and the club as required during this difficult time."
