Auchinleck Talbot served notice that they want to make up for losing last season’s Emirates Junior Cup Final by seeing off visitors and Superleague title rivals Petershill 7-0 in their Fourth Round tie.

Latta opened the scoring midway through the first half and Pope made it from the penalty spot after the visiting McCabe was sent off.

Gormley added the third after the break with Petershill reduced to nine men when O’Keane was dismissed before Hyslop with a double and McCann along with Wilson completed the scoring.

Allison and Kerr goals gave Camelon a 2-0 win at Yoker and Linlithgow won 4-2 at Arthurlie where Strickland gave Rose the lead and Muir levelled before half-time.

Roddy MacLennan’s double and a goal from Gibson had the tie won before McGregor pulled one back.

Irvine Meadow and Shettleston will need to meet again after a stirring last 10 minutes saw their game end 2-2. Kinniburgh and McGuiness had the hosts two up before half-time at Meadow Park.

Smith pulled a goal back and then levelled from the spot in the last minute after McGowan was sent off and an angry exchange took place between players and officials from both camps.                 2

In Central District First Division, Miller’s double helped St. Anthony's to a 3-2 win over East Kilbride and, in the Ayrshire District League, Saltcoats and Girvan drew 2-2

Whitletts saw off Kilwinning 3-1 in the Ayrshire Weekly Press Cup Round One thanks to Mitchell’s own goal and strikes from McGinn and McCubbin with Cumnock defeating Troon 2-1.

Hurlford and Largs Thistle both progressed in the New Coin Holdings West of Scotland Cup at the expense of St Rochs and Irvine Vics respectively.
