Kilmarnock 2-0 Inverness Caledonian Thistle

Dundee United sealed their place in the quarter-finals of the William Hill Scottish Cup with a comfortable 3-0 win over Rangers at Tannadice this afternoon.

Johnny Russell scored a brace, the first after just 15 seconds, and Jon Daly also found the back of the net to send Rangers spinning out of the Scottish Cup.

Fellow Scottish Premier League sides St Mirren and Kilmarnock progressed too with 2-0 wins over St Johnstone and Inverness Caledonian Thistle respectively.

Hamilton Academical also advanced with 2-0 win over Dunfermline Athletic at East End Park and Falkirk secured their place in tomorrow's draw with a 4-1 win over Forfar Athletic.

There are three more fifth round ties to played tomorrow: Raith Rovers v Celtic (12.45pm, live on BBC Scotland); Dundee v Greenock Morton (3pm) and Hibernian v Aberdeen (3.30pm, live on Sky Sports 2).

Aberdeen and Scotland legend Willie Miller will help make the quarter-final draw after the Hibs-Aberdeen clash at Easter Road, live on Sky Sports 2.
