Insight into Coach Education

Tuesday, 21 July 2009

The Coach Education Pathways for Children (5-12) and Youths (12-18) have been adapted in recent years to include a new Level 4 Award.

The Level 4 Basic Children’s Award and Level 4 Basic Youth Awards are both 5-day assessed courses.

They’ve been specifically designed to provide a bridge between the certificate courses on the pathways and the Licence.

Former Celtic player Mark McNally is the Scottish FA's Technical Development Officer. He has input into the design and content of all the Coach Education Courses, but in particular he heads up the Level 4 Awards.

In our short video he explains exactly what is involved when undertaking the Level 4 Youth Award.
