Schools under 18 squad selected

The Scottish Schools' Football Association has selected a new 18-player under 18 international squad.

The boys played for their local association teams in three National Trophy fixtures last year, before making it through regional trials, then a national trial at Toryglen Regional Football Centre last month.

British Isles Championship for the Centenary Shield:

Scotland v Northern Ireland, Forfar Athletic, Friday 5th March
Scotland v Wales, Airdrie United, Thursday 18th March
Republic of Ireland v Scotland, Ballybofey, Friday 2nd April
England v Scotland, Carlisle, Friday 23rd April live on Sky

Previous SSFA under 18 players who have gone on to play professional football include Stephen Pearson (Derby County), Lee Miller (Aberdeen), Chris Millar (St. Johnstone), Scott Brown (Celtic), Eddie Malone (Dundee) and Sean Murdoch (Hamilton Academicals).
