The South West Regional Squads include players from Dumfries & Galloway, North Ayrshire, East Ayrshire, South Ayrshire, and South Lanarkshire.
Regional Squads give players identified at local and development squad level an opportunity to receive high level football coaching and an introduction to sports science, including fitness testing, nutritional and hydration advice, sports psychology and lifestyle management.
The squads are delivered in partnership with the Scottish Youth FA and the Scottish Schools FA, and are designed to help players to develop to their full potential.
Parents are essential to the success of the programme, and are involved throughout.
