The cheeky 13-year-old – real name Roary Alba - is the great, great, great grandson of the Lion Rampant.
Roary used to be the “mane” attraction at Edinburgh Zoo, but he soon became fed-up when the new giant pandas began to steal all of the attention.
With so much time on his hands, he started researching his family tree. As the world’s biggest Scotland fan, he was over the moon to discover the identity of his great, great, great granddad.
He decided to head back to his spiritual home at Hampden Park, but he managed to get up to some mischief on the way.
After falling asleep and missing his stop on the train, he ended up in Essex, England. He decided to cheer himself up by high-fiving some locals before heading to Glasgow, but ended up causing a bit of a stir as reports flooded in of a dangerous lion on the loose.
Finally, he made it to Hampden and was delighted to be given a new job – leading the Hampden Roar.
