The first View Fixtures with no name (marked "null" in the All Competitions drop down box) is the Forth Valley U13 League.

                    COMPETITION RULES 2017-18

2.  Match Duration : U13/14         35 Minutes each way

                                U15            40 Minutes each way

                                Seniors       45 Minutes each way

                           U15 - Born on or after 1st January 2003

Seniors - Born on or after 1st January 1999

4.  No boy is allowed to play in 2 AGE GROUPS under any circumstances.  Points will be deducted or games will be forfeited if this rule is broken.

5.  Confirmation of the fixture must be made at least 3 school days prior to the game by the home team.   If they have not done this then the away team must contact the Home Rep.

6.  As you can see from the fixtures I have put all the Fixtures out at all levels. ALL Leagues to be completed by MID JANUARY 2018

A knockout competition involving the Top 4 Teams in each Section will decide on the award of the League Championship in all the Leagues to decide the Winners of the 4 Leagues for Season 2017/18.

7.  Football Reps should ensure that ALL results for his/her school be put down on the results sheet and emailed to me at les@borderlescott.co.uk

8.  Two properly filled out Teamlines should be printed off - one to be given to your opponents and one to the Referee PRIOR TO THE GAME.

9.  NO GAME WILL START UNLESS THE PROPERLY FILLED OUT TEAMLINES HAVE BEEN HANDED OVER *** This rule MUST NOT be broken under any circumstances ***.

10.  THE WINNING TEAM MUST SEND THE TEAM LINES TO ME IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE GAME TO 10 Almond Terrace, Whitecross, LINLITHGOW EH49 6LJ.

11.  No double headers can be played at any time.

12.  A System of "Rolling Subs" can be used within Local League and Cup Ties thus giving more boys an opportunity to participate in schools football.   These substitutions can only be made during a lull in play and with the full permission of the Referee.

13.  Claims for points etc. should be made in writing to the SECRETARY - Mr. J. S. Taylor within 3 school days of the game which should have taken place.

14.  All Field Offences, incidents on and off the park, appeals etc. must be reported in writing to me by the match referee within 3 school days of the game taking place.  Every qualified referee is aware of the Incident Reports Forms which give the name, time and nature of the offence with details of the incident. Again these have to be sent to me.

15. THE FIXTURES WILL BE POSTED ON THE WEBSITE – ONLY AFTER THE TEAMLINES HAVE BEEN RECEIVED BY ME.

16.  Scottish Cup Ties take precedence over all Local Games.

17.  If you have 2 players from your school who have been selected for the Region or Scottish Schools then you may, if you so desire, seek a postponement from the MATCH SECRETARY.

18.  This year at the AGM the request was again made that the winners of each Section receive a Medal.   The League Play-Offs will still be played for the award of the cup.

19. All strips must be numbered.

20. All schools should ensure that each team has a First Aid Bag.

21. All players playing Schools Football have now to be registered.  Any player who plays in a game unregistered is a protest and all Football Reps should ensure that NO GAME KICKS OFF UNLESS HE IS SURE THAT EVERY PLAYER IN HIS OR HER TEAM IS REGISTERED.  I have sent the Football Rep from all Forth Valley Schools information regarding Registration.

Any school requiring HELP AND SUPPORT on this should contact me asap or John Watson the Scottish Schools Secretary at the Schools Office at Hampden Park (0141 620 4570).

22. Please ensure that you send an automised Teamline to me prior to playing your first games so that I have a copy of every school team playing in the Forth Valley League – I know there will be changes to that during the year but I am more concerned that the TEAMLINES are filled in properly thus my request for an automised teamline.

23. Schools MUST send me URGENTLY the names and the email addresses of those staff taking teams so that I can forward these out to schools AND ALSO SEND A COPY TO THE SCOTTISH SCHOOLS FA.

24. Performance Schools

Players who attend a Scottish FA Performance School may represent their school in Cup and League competitions. No more than THREE attending that school as part of the Performance School Programme may take part in a Match.

a) Graeme High can only have 4 Performance Academy Players in the Team Squad List for any Forth Valley game plus a goalkeeper.

b) Should any School be of the opinion that this rule 24 is being breached then they should contact me asap.

If there are any rules you are not certain of please do not hesitate to contact me on the mobile 07771 570 792
