Scotland recorded a fantastic victory in their second game of the Cyprus Women's Cup this afternoon as they defeated the Netherlands 2-1.
The Dutch took the lead in the first-half from a corner, but Scotland came back strongly with an equaliser before half-time. In a closely competitive match, Scotland's winning goal came midway through the second-half as Hayley Lauder finished well from a Lisa Evans cut back.
The result gives Scotland every chance of a strong finish to the tournament going into the final games of the group stage. They are now level with Canada and the Netherlands on 3 points, with Canada's second match against Italy in Nicosia kicking-off at 3.30pm UK time.
Further reaction to today's result and performance will appear on the Scottish FA website. You can also keep track of results and group tables/fixtures at the official tournament website.
