Biography
John Neilson Robertson signed for Nottingham Forest in 1970 and became a key player when the club was at the peak of its success under legendary manager Brian Clough.
The fans favourite provided the cross that led to Trevor Francis' winner against Malmo as Forest lifted the European Cup for the first time in 1979.
He then scored the only goal of the game as Forest sealed back-to-back European Cup triumphs, defeating Hamburg in the 1980 final.
The Uddingston-born winger won 28 caps for Scotland, appearing at two World Cups.
He scored eight goals, including a strike in a 5-2 win over New Zealand at the 1982 World Cup in Spain, and the only goal in a 1981 British International Championship win over England at Wembley.
