BEFORE TRAVELLING, PLEASE ENSURE YOUR PASSPORT IS WITHIN DATE.

Flying to Liechtenstein

There are no commercial airports in Liechtenstein, the nearest airport will be Zurich in Switzerland.

Entry Requirements

  • Your UK passport must be issued less than 10 years before the date you enter the country (check Date of Issue).
  • Valid for at least 3 months after the day you plan to leave (check the Expiry Date).

Passport Stamping

Switzerland handles immigration and customs matters for Liechtenstein. If you’re not sure how the Swiss entry requirements apply to you, contact the Swiss Embassy in the UK.

Local Currency

The local currency in Liechtenstein is the Swiss Franc (CHF).

Data Roaming

Liechtenstein may not be covered within most Home away from home mobile data plans; however, it is best to check with your provider beforehand.

Local Customs

• Crime levels are low, but there are instances of petty street crime. Take precautions to avoid bag-snatching and pickpocketing and do not leave your valuables unattended.

FANZONE

INFORMATION ABOUT SOME EVENTS PRIOR TO THE MATCH.

Princely Tattoo

  • A fanzone is operating in Rathausplatz (Town Hall Square) for the Princely Tattoo which coninscides with matchday.
  • The fan zone consists of live music as well as food and drink served in the kiosks.
  • The Zwei Bar in Museumplatz is also open from 11am on matchday.

TICKET DISTRIBUTION

INFORMATION ABOUT HOW YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR TICKETS VIA THE APP.

Hampden Park Tickets App

  • Tickets will be distributed via the Hampden Park Tickets App.
  • The revolving QR code will appear when the ticket is open on the app.
  • Tickets are non-transferable to ensure the integrity of the loyalty points system.
  • Power banks are permitted, provided they are not larger than your mobile phone.

Matchday Resolution

  • If there are any issues with the app or your ticket, Susan & Alice will be at the ticket office, directly outside the stadium to resolve any issues. Located at the ticket office behind the South Stand (Sektor 2).
  • This facility is only for ticket resolutions; we cannot sell tickets on match day.
  • You may need to present a valid form of ID (copies/photos accepted) to verify your purchase.

PLAN YOUR ROUTE FROM VADUZ CITY CENTRE TO THE STADIUM.

Walk

  • The walk from the centre is 15 mins walk. The walk is flat without too much incline.

Bus

  • The bus lines 11, 21, 24, 12, 13, 14, 13E, N2, 40, and 12E all serve the stadium area.

Stadium Arrival

  • Gates open at 16:30h (1.5 hours prior to KO).
  • Fans will enter via the Gate indicated on their ticket (Sektor 2 or Sektor 3). There is a flight of stairs to negotiate before reaching the turnstiles.
  • Wheelchair users will enter via Sektor 1.

Entry Procedure

  • Visual and body checks will be conducted; flags and musical instruments will be checked.
  • Power banks are permitted, provided they are not larger than your mobile phone.

Banners & Flags

  • Max size 2m x 1.5m, any larger will not be permitted.
  • Space within the away sector for displaying flags is very limited.

Bags

  • Bags have a maximum size of 25x25x25cm, any larger will be prohibited.
  • There are no facilities at the stadium for bag storage.

Kiosks

You can pay with cash or card.

National Dress

  • Kilts, kilt pins and sporrans are all permitted, but will be searched.
  • Sgian Dubh’s of any kind will not be permitted.
  • Bagpipes are permitted into the stadium but will be checked at the turnstile by security.

Planned Holdback

Currently there is no expectation of a holdback. This will be updated on matchday morning.

  • Supporters are reminded that any supporter that travels to away matches are ambassadors for the national team and should always act and behave in a way that will continue to enhance the image of Scotland supporters and the national team.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

TAKE NOTE OF TRAVEL INSURANCE GUIDANCE.

If you are a UK national ordinarily resident in the UK, you can use your UK passport or GHIC card to access state provided medical treatment, if it becomes necessary during your trip. Any treatment provided is on the same terms as nationals. You should get a free UK Global Health Insurance Card (GHIC) before leaving the UK. If you already have an GHIC it will still be valid if it remains in date.

The GHIC entitles you to state provided medical treatment that may become necessary during your trip. Any treatment given is on the same terms as nationals. If you don’t have your GHIC with you or you’ve lost it, you can call the NHS Overseas Healthcare Team on +44 191 218 1999 to get a Provisional Replacement Certificate.

It’s important to take out appropriate travel insurance for your needs. A GHIC is not an alternative to travel insurance, and you should have both before you travel. It does not cover all health-related costs, for example, medical repatriation, ongoing medical treatment and non-urgent treatment.
