The seminar, attended by officials appointed to this summer's tournament in France, was held to enhance the preparation of each official for their duties later this year, including training on the use of VAR ahead of the finals in June.

A specially arranged youth tournament has been organised in conjunction with the seminar, allowing for training opportunities in real-life scenarios.
