Nominated Charity of the Scottish FA

The Scottish FA receives many requests for support from charities, other good causes and also individuals. Unfortunately, it is not possible to support all such requests.

To guide charitable organisations and individuals, the Scottish FA, in dealing with charitable requests, adopts the following policy: -

Nominated Charity of the Scottish FA

The Scottish FA will support one nominated charity.

Period of Support

The nominated charity of the Scottish FA will be offered support for two-to-four years, subject to approval.

This two-to-four-year period of support will run in parallel with either a FIFA World Cup or UEFA European Championship Campaign.

Nominated Charity of the Scotland Supporters Club (SSC)

In addition, to the nominated charity of the Scottish FA, the Charities Team will also offer support to the nominated charity of the SSC. The SSC nominated charity will be a supporter led organisation.

Period of Support

The nominated charity of the SSC will be offered support for approximately two to four years

The two-to-four-year period of support will run in parallel with either a FIFA World Cup or UEFA European Championship Campaign.

The two-to-four-year period of support will promote a more beneficial working relationship to be established and for the Scottish FA and the SSC to provide genuine support over an agreed period running in parallel with key qualifying campaigns. This allows assistance to be offered around both home and away games and opens up opportunities such as:

  • Potential for charities to host events at Hampden

  • Charity Bucket Collections in and/or around Hampden on agreed match days.

  • Activities and initiatives focused around matches played at Hampden.
