Riverside Coach Scott Banks said "It was refreshing to have some sessions that were about beating players and being skilful. Easily adapted and taken into a game situation and progressed. Without these type of sessions Scotland would and will not be developing creative and skilful players of the future."

Football Development Officer Mark Spalding also commented "It was great to see nearly 20 coaches from Dumbarton Riverside come along tonight, I am sure that the players at the club will be practising moves to beat an opponent over the next few weeks and months and I look forward to seeing them continue to develop."

The club in service covered 4 'Mini' Sessions which gave practical examples of how to play when you are; Facing an opponent, in a Diagonal position, Side on or have your Back to Goal.

Club Chair Alastair Bateman noted "the introduction to the creative player sessions by Alan and Mark was informative and well delivered. All eighteen of our coaches who attended will be building "the creative player" into future sessions plans for all our players (from 4 to 12 years old) with the intention of developing our players confidence on the ball."
