“I am extremely excited about the prospect of working together with the players, staff and partners in the region.” Rachel Corsie said: “This is a fantastic initiative to continue to inspire the next generation of players. “The Academy was part of my development when I was younger but it has come on leaps and bounds since then. “I’ve been able to head along and coach the girls and have really enjoyed the experience. “I know first-hand how important it is to undertake an academic programme as well playing football, having achieved an Accountancy degree. “The fact the programme has an academic element will really help the girls progress and develop.”
