Rod Petrie, Chair of LOS Glasgow and Scottish FA President: “LOS Glasgow commends and acknowledges the positive leadership demonstrated by UEFA in taking the correct decision to postpone UEFA EURO 2020 and we also recognise the uncertainty created by the COVID-19 pandemic at this time. “We have been in regular dialogue with our colleagues at UEFA and are mindful of the unique logistical challenges presented by a postponement to a tournament hosted in 12 cities across Europe. “The immediate priority now that we have reiterated our commitment, is to maintain an operational review of the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, in relation to the planned hosting model and deliverables for UEFA EURO 2020, working closely with all relevant Host Authorities.”
