In the last year, seven of the local authority’s community coaches have achieved their Level 4 Children’s award.
The move follows investment from the sports development team at East Dunbartonshire Council.
And now the newly qualified coaches will provide four training sessions based on the knowledge they have gained from the award.
Kevin Murphy, Scottish FA football development officer, explained: “The coaches will support the players on a technical level, as well as showcase and support the club coaches with content they have learned from the course.”
