TASA also donated 120 Scotland Supporters Club polo shirts to the children and staff members at the refuge. The Tartan Army Sunshine Appeal was founded in 2003 and has been working hard ever since to fundraise through various events throughout the calendar year and donate the money raised to good causes in countries who play Scotland. Scottish FA President Alan McRae said: “The work that the Tartan Army Sunshine Appeal conducts is tremendously beneficial and I thank them for their efforts in raising funds for Project Peru.

“The money they have donated will make a huge impact on the lives of these young children and I am pleased the Scottish FA were able to donate Scotland Supporters shirts to further boost this donation. “The trip to Peru was a tremendous success for everyone involved and the Peruvian locals were warm and engaging wherever we went. We are delighted to have been able to help an extremely worthy cause in Project Peru and very pleased to have inducted some honorary Scotland supporters.”
