These have been running very successfully over the first half of the year with teams from all over Central Region involved.
In order to continue to attract as many girls as possible the monthly festivals will take place around the region at 3 or 4 different venues, with teams registering before each event.
The event will run either on Saturdays or Sundays depending on venue availability.
The Festival programme will be similar to the new Summer Season that was introduced throughout all age groups in Girls Football in 2009 which would mean they would run until November.
Role will include:
Liaising with Regional Administrator regarding venues, clubs etc
Liaising with ClubsAttending Event to co-ordinate the running
Fixture Scheduling
The volunteer/s should:
Have an Interest in Grassroots Football
Be available one day a month to oversee
Be Computer Literate
Be willing to travel across the Region
First Aid Qualification desirable
The successful person will be fully supported in this role and will have the opportunity to attend selected Scottish FA Coach Education Courses free of charge.
