Piet Hubers of the KNVB (Dutch FA) recently visited the School of Football at Braidhurst High School in Motherwell and was impressed with what he saw.
Saturday's game may though have come too early for the young players.
Piet was visiting on behalf of UEFA to observe the Scottish FA's grassroots programme. Scotland were one of only 5 countries to be awarded the 5 star accreditations from UEFA for grassroots provision (the others are England, Netherlands, Norway and Germany) when they launched their charter in 2004.
