The tournament will act as vital preparation for Pauline Hamill’s side as they look towards next year’s UEFA European Championships – a tournament for which they qualify automatically as the host nation.

The last time Scotland were at the Euros was in 2017 where they exited at the group stages.

Pauline Hamill’s side go into the tournament on the back of 3-0 and 3-2 defeats against Belgium a month ago.

Players to watch

Jamie Lee Napier (Hibernian): An attacking player, Napier has been playing regularly for Hibernian and the Scotland Under-19s in the past, as she enters another campaign with the group. She attends the National Performance Academy and featured in the Elite Round earlier this year, scoring against Czech Republic.

Michaela McAlonie (Spartans): A strong, controlling midfielder and a key part of Spartans season so far.

McAlonie also featured in the last Elite Round as a centre back, demonstrating her versatility. She has also been shortlisted for many SWPL Player of the Month Awards.

Leah Eddie (Rangers): Eddie returned from a bad injury earlier in the year and is a strong, athletic defender with an excellent range of passing. Although young in age, she is a leader in a youthful rangers team.
