The striker scored his first goal for the club in May 2021 and became a first team regular during the 2022/23 season.
Conway won the club’s Young Player of the Year award for the 2023/24 season after scoring twelve goals in all competitions, including two goals against Premier League side West Ham United in the FA Cup.
He moved to Middlesbrough in the summer of 2024, scoring 13 league goals in his first season with the club.
At international level, Conway was called up to the Under-21 squad for the first time in September 2022, making his debut against Northern Ireland later that month.
The striker made seven appearances in total for the Under-21 side, scoring three goals.
He was called up to the senior squad for the first time in June 2024, making his senior debut three days later during a friendly match against Finland before travelling to Germany as part of Steve Clarke’s 26-man squad for EURO 2024.
