
In her second season with the senior side, Muir was voted as the club’s Player of the Year and Players’ Player of the Year before becoming the first recipient of the club’s overall Women’s Player of the Year award at the club’s annual prizegiving ceremony in April 2019.
The full-back made the move to Hibernian in July 2019, making her debut in August of that year before featuring in all three of the club’s 2019/20 UEFA Champions League qualifiers as Hibernian qualified for the Round of 32.
After three years with the Edinburgh side, Muir made the move to fellow SWPL side Glasgow City in July 2022.
She made her debut for the club in the opening game of the 2022/23 season, making 35 appearances in all competitions during her first season with the club as City went on to lift the league title.
The defender was part of Glasgow City’s Sky Sports Cup winning side in April 2026, playing the full ninety minutes during a 2-1 victory over Rangers in the final at Fir Park.
At international level, Muir represented the Scotland Under-17 side on seven occasions before progressing to the Under-19 squad, captaining the side for the 2019 UEFA Women’s Under-19 Championship.
She was called up to the senior squad for the first time in August 2019 but was forced to withdraw through injury, before making her debut the following year during a Pinatar Cup victory over Northern Ireland.
The full-back has been a regular in the senior squad ever since, reaching the ten cap milestone during a friendly match against China in December 2025.
