
The defender signed her first professional contract with the Merseyside club that summer before joining Lewes FC on loan at the beginning of 2023.
Weir joined SWPL side Glasgow City on a season-long loan in the summer of 2023, scoring his first senior goal during a 3-0 UEFA Champions League playoff victory against Lithuanian side Gintra.
Her time at Glasgow City came to an end in May 2024 after the defender suffered a serious ACL injury and returned to her parent club Everton.
In January 2026, Weir was loaned to Ipswich Town for the remainder of the 2025/26 season.
At international level, the defender represented the Scotland Under-16 side on two occasions, scoring on her debut against Malta in February 2020.
Weir was called up for the Under-19 side for the first time in 2021, making her debut against The Netherlands in October of that year.
She represented the Under-19’s on eleven occasions and scored one goal during a 5-1 victory over Hungary in 2022.
Weir received her first call up to the Scotland senior squad in April 2026 ahead of a World Cup qualifying double header against Belgium.
