Mia McAulay
Biography
Mia McAulay made her senior debut for Rangers in 2023 as a 16-year-old having impressed throughout her time with the club’s youth academy.

She signed her first professional contract in July 2023 and became a regular in the first team, scoring her first senior goal during a 5-1 victory over Aberdeen in August of that year.

McAulay won her first piece of silverware in March 2023 as Rangers lifted the Sky Sports Cup, with the striker opening the scoring during a 4-1 victory over Partick Thistle.

Her second trophy arrived soon after as Rangers completed the domestic cup double by winning the Scottish Cup.

In her debut season in professional football, she scored 16 goals in 41 appearances in all competitions and was named as the club’s Player of the Year and the PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year.

The following season McAulay was part of the Rangers side who completed the domestic cup double for the second consecutive season, scoring the opening goal in the Scottish Cup final against Glasgow City.

At international level, McAulay was capped once for the Scotland Under-15 side before progressing to the Under-17’s in 2022.

After 4 goals in 8 appearances for at that level, the striker was called up to the Scotland Under-19 side in 2023 and continued her goal scoring form by finding the net four times in 10 appearances.

McAulay was called up to the senior squad for the first time in July 2024, making her debut as a substitute during a UEFA Nations League match against Austria in May 2025.
