Utah Royals centre-back Corsie led the SWNT into their first FIFA Women’s World Cup after being appointed as captain by Shelley Kerr. The Aberdonian won her 100th cap for her country in the 3-2 comeback victory over Poland in 2019 FIFA World Cup qualifying, having made her debut in the 2009 Cyprus Cup against France.
In March 2011, Corsie captained Scotland to a first win over England in 34 years, and appeared in all of her country’s fixtures at UEFA EURO 2017.
The Scotland captain was an ever-present during Utah’s 2018 NWSL campaign, playing in each of the club’s 24 matches. An avid Aberdeen FC supporter, she is also a qualified accountant, having previously worked for Ernst and Young in Aberdeen.
