She left Rangers in the summer of 2024 to sign for English WSL side Brighton and Hove Albion.
At international level, McLauchlan was capped at Under-17 and Under-19 level before being called up to the senior squad for the first time in 2016, making her debut as a substitute against The Netherlands in October of that year.
The following year, the defender was included in the squad for EURO 2017 and started Scotland’s second group match of the tournament against Portugal.
